Key Account Manager the Netherlands

As Key Account Manager, you are responsible for the sales activities to a number of strategically very important customers in the Netherlands. In your role, you also detect new accounts and ensure the further expansion of your network.

You report directly to the sales director Belgium.

Some of your tasks

You are SPOC for your assigned accounts (central buying offices and buying groups)
You are responsible for drawing up an account plan
Negotiating and concluding large and mostly long-term contracts
Maintaining and expanding existing key accounts
Initiating possible actions towards strategic customers, as well as responding to needs and detecting opportunities
You gather market information about customers and competitors in order to increase market share

Your profile

You have obtained at least a Bachelor or Master degree
You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience as a Key Account Manager in the DYI sector or retail
You are fluent in communication and interaction
You are proactive and you work in a structured way
Dutch is your mother tongue and you have a good knowledge of English
